Condenser Tube Support Rack Project

Participated in a condenser tube support rack project at Malakoff Power Berhad, gaining practical experience in the inspection, preparation, installation, and maintenance of structural components used to support condenser tube assemblies within a power plant environment.

The project involved site preparation, material and equipment handling, identification and inspection of support rack components, positioning and installation of structural supports, alignment checks, fastening and bolting activities, and visual inspection of completed assemblies. Particular attention was given to ensuring the support racks were correctly positioned and securely installed to provide adequate support and stability for the condenser tube system.

The work also involved assisting with dimensional checks, checking structural connections, identifying signs of corrosion or damage, and verifying the condition of installed components. Proper PPE, work-at-height precautions, lifting procedures, and site-specific safety requirements were followed throughout the project.
