Maintenance and Cleaning of Shell-and-Tube Heat Exchanger at An Kao Chemicals Global

This project involved the scheduled maintenance and internal cleaning of a shell-and-tube heat exchanger at An Nasuha Enterprise’s processing facility. The work scope included hydro jetting of the exchanger’s tube bundle to remove fouling, scaling, and deposits accumulated during operation. By restoring clean internal surfaces, the heat transfer efficiency was improved, operating pressure drops were minimized, and the overall reliability of the equipment was enhanced. The project also emphasized adherence to safety standards, with workers equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following industry best practices. This maintenance initiative contributed to sustaining plant productivity, reducing downtime, and extending the service life of critical process equipment.
