Cyclone Separator Fabrication & Replacement Project

Participated in a cyclone separator fabrication and replacement project at ECP, involving the fabrication, dismantling, installation, and replacement of an existing cyclone separator within an industrial processing system.

The project involved site measurement, material preparation, cutting, fitting, welding, fabrication of cyclone separator components, dismantling of the existing unit, lifting and positioning of the new separator, alignment, and installation of connecting components. Fabricated sections were inspected to ensure proper dimensions, fit-up, and structural integrity before installation.

During the replacement activities, attention was given to equipment positioning, connection alignment, welding joints, bolted connections, structural supports, and overall installation condition. The work also required coordination with site personnel and lifting teams to safely handle and position the large equipment.

All activities were carried out following appropriate PPE requirements, hot-work procedures, lifting and rigging practices, working-at-height precautions, and site safety procedures.
