Industrial Pump Installation & Maintenance

Participated in an industrial pump installation project at Danisco Malaysia, gaining hands-on experience in the installation and preparation of mechanical equipment within an operating industrial facility.

The project involved equipment preparation, pump positioning, installation, mechanical alignment, piping and connection work, fastening and inspection of components, and pre-commissioning checks. Particular attention was given to ensuring proper pump alignment, secure mounting, correct connections, and overall equipment condition prior to operation.

The work also involved assisting with **inspection and verification of installed components**, identifying potential installation issues, and supporting functional checks to ensure the pump system was ready for operation. Appropriate **PPE, workplace safety procedures, and site requirements** were followed throughout the project.

This project provided valuable practical exposure to industrial mechanical systems, rotating equipment, pump installation procedures, equipment inspection, maintenance practices, and industrial safety, strengthening my understanding of how engineering principles are applied in real-world plant environments.
